The best word to describe her would be luminous. She had a certain radiance about her that could brighten an entire football stadium. And it would be a shame whenever she left, for the room abandoned would dim in response. It was nice, sometimes, to just sit with her on a cloudy morning and bask in her presence. She gave off this contagious energy that could both calm and excite. At the same time, however, the rays of her gleam would beat down on me--so intense that I occasionally could not bring myself to look at her. After a day spent with her, I'd always find my skin hot and my cheeks scarlet, drunk with sun. Nevertheless, I would go to sleep and only hope to be greeted by her unnerving light in the morning.
